Airsoft Extreme regrets to announce the passing of Christopher Shaw, a valued member of the AEX family.

Chris joined our staff only a couple of months ago to work at AEX San Diego. He had just moved to San Diego from Colorado where he had attended the University of Colorado and spent 4 years in the U.S Army Reserves.... While in San Diego and with his Army Reserve service completed, Chris also recently joined the U.S. Air Force Reserves. Chris was unfailingly polite and extremely responsible. He made fast friends among the staff and in the local San Diego airsoft community. Also, like many other members of the AEX staff, he was an avid motorcyclist and owned a Yamaha R6. He once even rode from San Diego to Santa Cruz and back on his day off on his bike to visit his girlfriend to whom he was very devoted. Although quite an experience and test of endurance, he vowed never to have to do it again.

Last Thursday night on Nov 12, 2009, Chris was returning home to drop off his motorcycle after purchasing a new car when he was killed in a hit and run accident. The driver of the other vehicle has not been identified. If anyone has information regarding this accident, please contact the San Diego Police Department.
