NEW and IMPROVED TM-02 Devgru Operator Throat Mic Communications Set.

The new TM-02 meets or exceeds all areas of durability, reliability, material quality, and sound performance over the TM-01 including the TM-01M military series and now includes 2 different types of mounting clips for the PTT unit. Sound Quality: The TM02 has improved Mic & Speaker units for better sound quality. Compared with the TM-01 Gen 1.0, the sensitivity of throat-mic unit in the TM02 has improved by 20% and speaker unit output has increased by 15%. The OPERATOR TM01KW (the model for Kenwood radios only) boasts the best sound quality in our product line.
Main Frame: The poly-carbonate hinged main frame up to Gen 1.5 has been changed to a new “military-spec” material to reduce incidences of cracks and breakage

PTT Switch: The new polycarbonate material for the PTT switch is also changed to the “military-spec” engineering plastic which can take more than 100kgs of vertical pressure.

Design and structural changes to the switch plate makes the PTT switch water-tight.

Cable: The thermo-stable coiled cable previously only applied to the Military/Law-Enforcement models of the TM01 is now applied to the all TM02 models, making the TM02 more reliable, heat-resistant and fire-resistant.

The new coiled cable is now made by in-house by DEVGRU Communications LLC. to ensure the best sound quality and to prevent the performance drop at the sudden drop of temperature. Also the soft tension of the new coiled cable will make it easier for users to put on the headsets.

Clamper & MOLLE Clip (NEW): The new TM02 systems now include two kinds of clips for the PTT switch: the clamper and the MOLLE clip. The clamper, which has tiny nonskid claw, enables the users to attach the switch wherever they want. The 1-inch MOLLE clips can be easily assembled to the military webbing attachment systems currently in use such as MOLLE, FSBE, CIRAS etc. The switch box can be easily attached to both clips by Velcro. The Clamper and MOLLE clips can be purchased separately.

Connector Sleeve: In the new TM02, the injection-molded connector sleeve protects the composite joint between the water-tight Hirose connector and the heavy-duty cable.
