We're not quite sure how we got to be on issue 32 of Ai...I guess the old adage of time fly's when your having fun certainly springs to mind. To say that's its been an intense roller coaster of highs and lows somehow doesn't do our journey justice. It's easy to lose sight of our goals as Airsoft is our hobby and passion. As a team we certainly have some home grown talent onboard these days, which makes my job a whole lot easier. As players it's easy to lose sight of our hobby and concentrate on the commercial demands Ai throws at us. It's hard never ending work someone once used the analogy of "I guess it's like painting the Humber Bridge? Once you finish at one end, you have to go back and start all over again" I for one would have to agree, we're doing it now 13 times a year and you know what I would not have it any other way. We love what we do and are extremely proud of what we've achieved, but do you know what? It's important for each member of the Ai crew to remember where they came from (Airsoft Players). As players and members of this global Airsoft Community we tell it as it is, as publishers we won't compromise. Boy that soap box was high (I'm down off of it now) anyway how are you? Good I hope! As usual we've been up to our armpits in airsoft goodness this month, to be honest I'm all airsofted out, anyway that's enough about me, let's get on with the show. We kick off this month with another new feature, well okay a new take on an old feature. Local Load outs is all about you (the player) we'll be asking players what are you wearing and more importantly why? Is Airsoft a fashion statement out on the skirmish field or do particular load outs and looks work? Talking about load outs, we got another lead up article to the Ai 500 this month. It's all about the gear, looks at what you actually need to pack for a big game and more importantly hump around the arena. Remember that Ai is your magazine let us know whats going on in your part of the world, let us know what you like and don't like and well do our best to cover it.
