Operation Lionclaws X, Memorial Day Weekend, 2011
Evolution: Real World
In 2002 Alpha Company, under the leadership of Col. Danny McKnight, narrowly defeated Bravo Company led by Vietnam LRRP Ranger Sgt. Kenn Miller. In 2003, Bravo had a new CO and the legacy of Mad Max was born.
Since then hundreds of young men and women who came through OLCMSS are now serving in the Sand Box. We’re proud and honored to call you our alumni.
Operation Lion Claws Military Simulation Series – EVOLUTION: REAL WORLD. Alpha Company and Bravo Company will face-off over the weekend of May 27~29, 2011 in Victorville, CA where the US Army and Marines trained their pre-deployment troops. It is an honor and privilege for us to conduct the 10th anniversary of Operation Lion Claws at this amazing REAL WORLD AO. When the site training manager warned an Army Col. of this site’s inherent danger, i.e., broken glass, nails, wires and etc., the Army Col. looked at the site manager and said: ‘With all due respect, the place where I’m taking my men in three weeks is far more dangerous then this.’
This is a pre-deployment war game exercise between A CO and B CO; once again Col. McKnight and MSG Mullen will square off with support from Marine units added to each side. Let.s see which Company will take the crown at LC-X !! Hooah!!
