Flashback Friday: Custom Western Arms Para Ordnance P14
Welcome back to another wonderful day in the world of airsoft—and another edition of Airsoft Extreme Flashback Friday!
Today, we’re digging up a true blast from the past from the airsoft dungeon of our San Diego staff member, Lawrence.
The Build
This is a custom Western Arms Para Ordnance P14 SD paired with an extended magazine. (See Pic 1 & Pic 2)

Extended Magazine Setup
Let’s start with the magazine. When Western Arms originally released their double stack magazine, extended versions weren’t available.
If you look closely, you’ll notice this magazine is actually made up of two pieces. The top portion is the original OEM magazine, while the lower portion uses the OEM base combined with an aftermarket extension. (See Pic 3)
As for the manufacturer of the extension… Lawrence has long since forgotten—must be getting on in years.
Inner Barrel & Suppressor Setup
One of the standout features of this build is the extended inner barrel that runs through the mock suppressor.
The hop-up unit and inner barrel were taken from a Western Arms 7” Infinity, while the outer barrel and suppressor came stock with the gun. (See Pic 4 & Pic 5)

Upgrades & Performance
Lawrence also installed a Guarder 150% recoil and hammer spring set, along with a Guarder barrel bushing for improved performance and durability.
With the extended inner barrel setup, this pistol shoots between 331 FPS and 340 FPS using .20g BBs. (See Pic 6)
Final Thoughts
We hope you enjoyed today’s walk down memory lane… that’s if you can remember this far back.
Have a great day, and we look forward to sharing more classic builds with you in the next Flashback Friday!
