EMG x KWA KelTec SUB2000 Folding Gas Blowback Airsoft Carbine - Field / CQB - Black

The EMG x KWA KelTec SUB2000 brings the distinctive folding KelTec SUB2000 platform to airsoft as an officially licensed 6mm gas blowback carbine. Produced by KWA and officially licensed through EMG, this airsoft version retains the signature folding design of the original SUB2000 while adding realistic gas blowback operation and select-fire capability with both semi-automatic and full-automatic firing modes.

The KWA SUB2000 is available in two velocity configurations: Field and CQB. The Field version comes equipped with KWA's higher-velocity Field bolt and is rated at approximately 380-400 FPS, while the CQB version uses a lower-velocity CQB bolt and is rated at approximately 330-350 FPS. Externally, both versions are the same rifle. The difference is the installed bolt assembly and resulting muzzle velocity.

KWA designed the bolt system for tool-free removal, allowing the SUB2000 to be converted between Field and CQB configurations using the appropriate bolt assembly. This gives players the ability to configure the same platform around different outdoor or indoor airsoft field velocity requirements without replacing the complete rifle.

The SUB2000's defining feature is its folding design. Pulling the trigger guard allows the barrel assembly to pivot upward and fold over the receiver, reducing the carbine from approximately 29.25" deployed to just 16.5" folded. This dramatically reduces the overall footprint for storage and transportation while preserving a full-size carbine configuration when deployed.

KWA powers the SUB2000 with a green gas blowback system that cycles the action with each shot for realistic movement and recoil feedback. Unlike the semi-automatic real-steel SUB2000, the airsoft version features select-fire operation with semi-automatic and full-automatic modes. KWA lists a cyclic rate of approximately 28 rounds per second under appropriate operating conditions, although actual rate of fire will vary with gas pressure and temperature.

The SUB2000 also features KWA's tool-less adjustable hop-up system, allowing hop adjustment by hand without requiring a separate adjustment tool. A 15.75" inner barrel provides full-size carbine barrel length while the folding frame allows the platform to remain exceptionally compact during transportation.

For accessories, the SUB2000 provides M-LOK mounting on the sides of the handguard along with 20mm Picatinny rail sections on the top and bottom. Flip-up iron sights are included, and standard 14mm CCW / 14mm negative muzzle threading allows compatible airsoft tracer units, mock suppressors, and other muzzle devices to be installed.

Field vs. CQB Versions

• Field Version: Includes the higher-velocity Field bolt and is rated at approximately 380-400 FPS.
• CQB Version: Includes the lower-velocity CQB bolt and is rated at approximately 330-350 FPS.
• External Appearance: Field and CQB versions share the same external construction, dimensions, controls, rail system, folding mechanism, and overall appearance.
• Interchangeable Bolt System: Field and CQB bolt assemblies can be removed and exchanged without tools, allowing the platform to be reconfigured for different field velocity requirements when the appropriate bolt is installed.
