The Next Generation Shock Recoil System uses a reciprocating weight to simulate recoil and muzzle flip. Additionally, this gun has a lot of other features to simulate a real gun such as an auto-stop function to stop firing after the last round is shot and the realistic dummy rounds moving to simulate the cycling of belt ammunition. Internally, it features a newly designed high torque gearbox.
