T-C HL Gun Light Adapter Setup Guide
Hello airsoft connoisseurs, and welcome back to another Airsoft Extreme blog! Today, we’ll be explaining why you don’t want to toss out all those extra parts that come with your T-C HL Gun Light. (See Picture 1)
What’s Included
Before we get started, here’s what comes in the box: (See Picture 2, Picture 3, Picture 4, Picture 5 & Picture 6)
- T-C HL Gun Light (with 1913 adapter installed)
- Allen wrench
- GL adapter
- TWS/99 adapter
- 90two adapter
Why These Parts Matter
Those extra adapters aren’t just spare parts—they’re essential for ensuring a secure and proper fit across different mounting systems. If your gun light feels loose with the standard 1913 adapter, swapping to one of the included adapters will usually solve the issue.
How to Swap the Adapter
- Remove the mounting screw.
Using the included Allen wrench, remove the screw from the left side of the gun light. (See Picture 7, Picture 8 & Picture 9)
- Release the rail.
Depress the locking knob to the left. This will move the left rail out of the way, allowing you to remove the installed 1913 adapter. (See Picture 10, Picture 11 & Picture 12)
- Install the correct adapter.
Insert the appropriate adapter for your setup. In this example, we’re using the GL adapter. (See Picture 13)
- Secure the adapter.
Reinstall and tighten the screw to lock the new adapter in place.
Common Fitment Issue
The most common issue users encounter is that the 1913 adapter does not seat the light firmly on certain pistol platforms. The included adapters are designed to solve this problem and provide a more secure lock-up across a variety of rail systems.
