PTS EPM AR9 Magazine Base Plate Upgrade Guide
Hello again, fellow airsofters—especially our speedibois out there.
Today, we’re covering a simple yet eye-catching upgrade for your PTS EPM AR9 magazine. (See Picture 1)
We’ll be showing you how to swap out the stock base plate for a PTS EPM AR9 upgraded base plate.

Tools You’ll Need
- Phillips screwdriver
- 2mm Allen key
Step 1: Remove the Stock Base Plate
Use your Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw securing the stock base plate. (See Picture 2) Once the screw is removed, the base plate will slide off from back to front.
Step 2: Install the New Base Plate
Slide the upgraded base plate into position. Then use your 2mm Allen key to secure it in place by tightening the included screw. (See Picture 3)
Why Upgrade?
With a bright, high-visibility base plate (like red), your magazine becomes much easier to spot if you accidentally drop it during gameplay. (See Picture 4) It’s a small upgrade—but one that can save you time, frustration, and even money.
